Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Academician Asaf Hajiyev, Head of the Department at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, took part in the 12th International Conference "Management Sciences and Engineering Management" organized by the International Society of Management Sciences and Engineering Management, Sichuan University and Monash University and held on 1-4 August 2018 in Melbourne, Australia. A. Hajiyev made a plenary speech at the conference. The conference was attended by about 100 scientists from the United States, Australia, Canada, China, Japan, India and other countries.

For his plenary report, Academician A. Hajiyev was awarded the conference prize.

Within the framework of the conference, A. Hajiyev discussed publishing Azerbaijani scientists' articles in the high impact factor journal Omega with the Editor-in-Chief of this journal, Dr. Benjamin Lev, and also discussed joint scientific research with Prof. Syed Ejaz Ahmed of the Brock University, Canada, and Prof. Jiuping Xu of the Chengdu University, China.
