Astana, Kazakhstan held an international forum of young scientists "Burabay forum: international cooperation".

The forum will last for 3 days and will be organized by the First President Foundation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Scientific Council of the Foundation.

The event is attended by more than 100 representatives from 8 state-run Kazakhstani officials, heads of higher education institutions, chairmen of CIS Council of Young Scientists and young scientists.

The international forum our country are represented by Chairman of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Ph.D in physics, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov, Deputy Head of the Office of Science and Education  of Presidium Administration, PhD in engineering sciences, Associate Professor Huseynov Huseyn and head of Scientific Analytical Department  Fail Kazimov.

On the first day of the event, which began its work at the Nazarbayev Center, the participants got acquainted with the scientific works of young scientists, who were shown at the exhibition hall.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Executive Director of the First President Foundation of Kazakhstan Kanat Cumbaev emphasized that, the main purpose of the forum is to expand contacts between science and education institutions of the CIS and CIS countries, to exchange views and to systematize scientific-theoretical and practical researches of scientists from participating countries and identify prospective plans.

He noted that, the event will allow for science specialists to have a multidisciplinary cooperation platform, as well as bring together prominent scientists.

At the forum's plenary session ANAS Chairman of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Famin Salmanov, delivered a report on "Scientific youth development strategy and activity of the Council in Azerbaijan".

He noted about the recent reforms in the field of science in Azerbaijan, integration of Azerbaijani science into world science, creation of science-education-innovation unity, development of international cooperation between our young scientists and the work done by the council in this direction, as well as the planned action plan.

Within the framework of the event also were held panel discussions on themes "Education and Science Integration: Experience and Perspectives" and "The Role of Youth in Solving Global Scientific and Technological Problems in CIS Countries".

Let's note that, the forum will finish its work on August 11.
