Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Our country is represented at the 30th International Informatics Olympiad (IOI), organized this year in Tsukuba, Japan.

This year, 340 pupils from 85 countries are taking part in competitions. Our country is represented by an official delegation consisting of 4 pupils and 2 teachers in the contest, which was attended by Azerbaijan for the 24th time. Students will compete by dividing by age.

It should be noted that the International Informatics Olympiad is considered one of the best in the world of 5 science Olympiads. Azerbaijan has been a participant of these competitions since 1994. So far, 55 Azerbaijani schoolchildren from Azerbaijan won 5 medals, including one silver and four bronze medals.

Azerbaijan will host the 31st International Olympiad in Informatics next year. It will be held at ADA University.
