Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

It is 100th anniversary of liberation of Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak occupation. On September 15, 1918, the Caucasian Islamic Army led by Nuru Pasha liberated Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak occupation.

Thus, Azerbaijan independence was ensured. This event is one of the most glorious pages of the history of Azerbaijan of the twentieth century.

Exhibition Hall of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS has been organized an exhibition devoted to the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Baku, which will last until September 30. Books which are stored in the library's fund :"Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Caucasian Islamic Army", "Nuru Pasha", "Azerbaijan-Turkey Relations", "Caucasian Islamic Army in Azerbaijan", "1926, 1st Baku Turkic Kurultay", "Baku- hero city", "Baku - the capital of Islamic culture", "Baku - history pages", etc. are demonstrated here.
