Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Round Hall of ANAS Main Building held a jubilee meeting dedicated to outstanding Azerbaijani scientist, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, Professor, laureate of the State Prize, honored scientist, academician Hasan Abdullayev. Within the framework of the event, were awarded the winners of the competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Hasan Abdullayev.

Young scientists and specialists from the institutes of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences took part in the competition. The 1st place was awarded engineer of the Institute of Physics Elnur Bagirov. Chief of the sector of the Institute of Information Technologies, Ph.D. in technology Babak Nabiyev, senior researcher of the Institute of Radiation Problems, Ph.D. in Physics Nuran Aliyev and the scientific employee of the Institute of Control Systems Vugar Hashimov won the 3rd place and the research fellow of the Institute of Physics, Ph.D. physics Shahla Aliyeva and senior research fellow of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, PhD in Astronomy Rustam Guliyev won the 2nd place.

Winners were awarded diplomas.
