The interview stage for candidates applying to the Bulletin, a new project of the Archaeological Society, has officially commenced at the Museum and Exhibition Hall of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS.

The Bulletin is one of the Archaeological Society’s principal scientific publication projects. It aims to promote scholarly knowledge in the fields of archaeology, anthropology, ethnography, museology, architectural history, and cultural heritage, encourage the involvement of young researchers in scientific activities, and present contemporary research to a broader audience.

On the first day of the interview stage, candidates were assessed on their academic background, motivation, analytical thinking skills, ability to work in a team, research potential, and suitability for editorial work. Discussions also focused on their interest in scientific research, sense of responsibility, and potential contributions to the project.

The interviews were conducted by Orkhan Zamanov, Head of the Department for the Organization of Scientific Exposition at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS and lecturer at the Department of History and Archaeology of Khazar University; Konul Ibrahimli, Chair of the Archaeological Society and Editor of the Bulletin; Nazrin Guliyeva, Secretary of the Archaeological Society and Coordinator of the Bulletin; Ismayil Hasanov, Head of the Bulletin Project Team; and members of the editorial board Aysun Abbasova, Elmir Gambarli, and Famil Valiyev.

The reception, registration, and guidance of candidates throughout the interview process were coordinated by members of the Archaeological Society’s Executive Board, Leyla Khaligova, Head of the Media Group, and Leyla Abdullayeva, Head of the Events Group. The interview process was organized systematically, and all necessary conditions were provided to ensure the candidates’ comfortable and efficient participation.

The interviews for the Bulletin project will continue over the coming days. Following the completion of the evaluation process, the selected candidates will join the project’s editorial team and actively participate in the preparation of future issues of the Bulletin.
