Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS organizes an international scientific conference dedicated to various problems of geology and geophysics for young specialists, doctors and students every two years.

The next VII international scientific conference entitled "Information technologies in solving modern problems of geology and geophysics", to be held on October 15-18, will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics.

Over 140 young researchers from 18 countries around the world (Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Egypt, etc.) have addressed to the Organizing Committee.

BP, TOTAL and SOCAR provide financial support to the international event.

The opening ceremony of the conference will take place on October 15 at 10:30 at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.
