Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Meeting with academician Vagif Abbasov, director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of ANAS, was held at Education, Training and Certification Department of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

Leading and engineer-pedagogical employees of the office, as well as pupils of Sumgayit Education, Training Center attended the meeting.

Head of the Department Fuad Suleymanov spoke about the life and work of the academician, his achievements and his pedagogical activity at the event.

Then, academician Vagif Abbasov delivered a speech on the topic of "Career development of young cadres and the growth of youth in the spirit of patriotism". In his speech, the scientist talked about national leader Heydar Aliyev's work in the development of young cadres in our country, his role in the development of the petrochemical industry.

He later answered the questions of the participants and presented the books he authored.
