Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Academician-secretary of Humanitarian Sciences Division of ANAS, director of Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammed Fuzuli, academician Teymur Karimli and director of Huseyn Javid's House Museum, doctor of philological sciences Gulbeniz Babakhanli has been in Turkey for a business trip. Azerbaijani scholars have visited a number of Turkish libraries with rich treasures within the framework of the project "The Dynamics of Historical Development of Literature and Art of Azerbaijani and Turkic Peoples and Prospects of Multicultural Processes".

The project manager, academician Teymur Karimli and the project participants got acquainted with the rich manuscripts kept in the Suleymaniyye Library of the Turkish Writing Authority.

Director of the library Menderes Velioglu informed the guests about the history of this organization and the work implemented here.

An agreement on cooperation was signed between the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS and the Library of Suleymaniyye in order to exchange electronic versions of Turkic-language manuscripts.
