Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The "Ashug Ali's Turkey Visit" epic was presented at the International Mugam Center on October 31 within the "Saga night" project.

The event was organized jointly by the International Mugam Center and the Institute of Folklore of ANAS.

Head of Department of Folklore Institute, Honored Art Worker, Ph.D. in philology Elkhan Mammadli spoke about the importance of the project in terms of promotion of ashug art and thanked the organizers.

Giving information about the "Ashug Ali's Turkey Visit" episode, Mammadli said that the work was based on a simple and traditional plot.

The epic was presented to the audience by Ashug Bahman Goychali and Ashug Firudin Goychali.
