Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The next session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR member states was held in the Romanian, Bucharest.

Our country was represented by the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Ibragim Guliyev, Academician-Secretary of the Division of Physical-Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan in JINR, academician Nazim Mammadov and chief specialist of the Department, assistant to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan in JINR, Yegana Aliyeva.

He noted that, the current year was very fruitful for the institute, were launched new projects, cooperation with the research centers of the JINR Member States was expanded, joint research and programs were conducted, work in this direction continues.

At the scientific session, JINR Vice-Directors V.D.Kekelidze and R.Lednitsky delivered papers on the implementation of the NİCA project and project activities to be implemented in 2019.

In addition, at the session, JINR Scientific Secretary A.S.Sorin introdused the changes, which were made to the composition of the Scientific Council of the Institute, head of the JINR Department of International Relations D.V.Kamanin delivered a report on relations with associated countries, V.Korenkov, Director of JINR Laboratory of Information Technology on the main trends, appeals and prospects for the development of information technologies.
