On December 3, academician-secretary of Humanitarian Sciences Division of ANAS, director of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammed Fuzuli, academician Teymur Karimli met with students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the National University of Kazakhstan named after Al-Farabi (NUK).
The scientist delivered a lecture on "Azerbaijani literature: classics and contemporary writers" and spoke about the achievements of Oriental Studies in Azerbaijan. After listening to the report, the students asked questions.
It should be noted that the Faculty of Oriental Studies of NUK is one of the leading centers in Kazakhstan for training highly qualified specialists in the field of Oriental Studies. This faculty, learning Eastern languages, as well as Arabic and Persian literature, was formed in the 70s of the 20th century.
