Correspondent member of ANAS A. Sadigov: Academy's masters degree program is one of the successful projects nationwide

Chief of Head Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS, correspondent member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov spoke on the topic "Master's degree experience at ANAS: Analysis and Perspectives for the Future" at the next meeting of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Institutes of ANAS. The project plays a great role in the effective organization of the Academy's future activities, involving young people in science, as well as in the integration of science and education, speaker lined out.

Speaking about the dynamics of the admission to the Master's degree program of ANAS, the reporter noted that the number of people adopted in 2015 was 19 and in the current year this number reached 67.

In 2015, 19 masters have been admitted to 20 places and 67 to 92 paces in 2018. According to the results of the scientific divisions of ANAS for the 2017/2018 academic year, most masters (23) were admitted to the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Technical Sciences.

The scientist also presented the success statistics of the 2018 graduate students. Out of 57 graduate students, 45 were honored with the honors diploma.

A.Sadigov also informed about the statistics of the points scored by the masters during the reception, the plan places and the results of the interview. According to him, 38 of 57 graduates, who graduated in 2018, continue their scientific activities at ANAS today.

Speaking about the perspectives of the Master's degree, A. Sadigov noted that curricula and subject programs should be re-prepared by covering up-to-date topics, and international double diploma programmes should be organized jointly with prestigious foreign higher education institutions.
