“At the root of Caucasian civilization. Neolithic Azerbaijan. The first Book: Shomutepe” book by Tufan Akhundov, Dr. History, associate of ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography was published.

The book embraces the archaeological materials which were kept in the Foundation of the Archaeological Institute over a period of more than 50 years and explored from Shomutepe neolith settlement.

Findings obtained as a result of researches carried out by the settlement archaeologists for many years have been fully classified in the form of a directory for the first time and submitted to the academic research community and the wider reading public.

Note that, the book titled as “Karabakh neolith monuments. The first volume” is under construction.
