Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh informed about this at the meeting of the Council for the Coordination of Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Academician Akif Alizadeh said that, for the 1st time the 1st Congress of Azerbaijani scientists was held in Azerbaijan and at the region on December 19, 2014.

A.Alizadeh said: “The main innovative theme of the congress will be the current innovative position of Azerbaijani science and all its directions will be devoted to applied science. The congress will discuss the development of innovative science, the contribution and possibilities of the new science for the economy. All scientific structures and institutions of the country will take an active part in this important event. ANAS has already begun certain work in preparation for the congress”.

Then, was adopted a decision on holding the 2nd Congress of Azerbaijan Scientists in November of 2019. Also, relevant instructions were given in connection with the organization of the event.
