"Winter Astronomy for Students" has been held at the Observatory

"Astronomy Winter School for Students" has been held in Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N.Tusi on March 27 - Science Day.

The three-day event was organized jointly by SHAO, “Azerkosmos”, Tusi-Bohm Planetarium and “AstroKlub” Student Association.

The event was opened by the director of ANAS, correspondent member of ANAS Namig Jalilov and recalled the President's Order of 9 April 2018 on the establishment of "Day of Science". He said that the winter school was based on the approved plan of action. He noted that the goal is to increase students' interest in astronomy and space science.

N. Jalilov noted that a number of events will be continued within the Days of Science.

It should be noted that more than 30 students studying in the winter school at the Baku State University, ADA University, National Aviation Academy, Baku Branch of Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov, Baku Engineering University, Khazar University and Western Caspian University attended the event.

At the end of the event, participants received certificates.
