Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Laboratory Head of the Institute of Radiation Problems, correspondent member of ANAS Islam Mustafayev participated in the regional seminar on "Lead problem in dyes" organized by United Nations Environment Program in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Experts from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, scientists from 12 countries' scientific centers, experts in the field of ecology, health and law, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the event.

During the seminar, more than 20 reports have been listened, as well as the impact of lead on human organisms and the environment, creation of normative-legal acts limiting the amount of lead in the composition of dyes and priorities of future activity.

I. Mustafayev presented the report on the current situation in this sphere in Azerbaijan.
