Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A meeting was held with students of the 1st course of Physics specialty of Nakhchivan State University at Batabat Astrophysical Observatory of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

Director of the Observatory, PhD in Physics-Mathematics, Associate Professor Gulu Haziyev told the students about the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov on April 3, 2019, "On Additional Measures and Innovations Supporting Specialties in Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Institutions".

Gulu Haziyev informed the students about the activity of the organization and said that the structure of the Batabat Astrophysical Observatory, established in accordance with the decree of national leader Heydar Aliyev on August 7, 2002, includes the administrative building in Nakhchivan, Batabat station in Shahbuz district and Agdere station in Ordubad district. The scientific direction of the Observatory is the study of comets, stars and asteroids.

In the end, many questions were answered.
