Lankaran State University (LSU) and ANAS Institute of Genetic Resources signed a cooperation agreement. The document is aimed for mutual exchange of staff and the creation of cooperation in the research field.
In accordance with the agreement, the study of plant biodiversity in the Lankaran-Astara region is envisaged, the identification of plant species threatened with death and extinction, the organization of joint scientific seminars and scientific conferences, the involvement of young scientists in scientific research and their participation in local and international conferences.
The agreement, which will be valid for five years, was signed by the Acting Rector of the University Professor Natig Ibragimov and Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources, corresponding member of ANAS Zeynal Akperov.
