Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Today at the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS (IRP) a meeting with Russian and Ukrainian scientists was held.

Director of the IRP, correspondent member of ANAS Ogtay Samadov informed the guests about the activities of the institute and achievements, as well as the international relations of the organization.

Professor Andrei Stepanov, professor of Kazan Physical-Technical University of Russian Academy of Sciences, Taras Kavetsky, Professor of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland), Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University(Ukraine), and Head of the International Research and Training Center for Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Nanobiotechnology and scientific secretary of that center, Mariana Kravtsov, spoke about the history of their institutions and their scientific achievements.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the prospects of scientific cooperation.

At the end of the visit, the guests got closely acquainted with modern equipment and their working principles at the institute's laboratories.
