Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On January 25, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek.

During the bilateral meeting, the sides discussed the issues of cooperation in the field of science of the Turkic World. In addition, the agenda of the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy with the participation of Ministers responsible for education and science of the member states of the Turkic Academy, which is scheduled to March 2023 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), has been worked out.

Sh. Mustafayev stressed the importance of further strengthening the partnership between scientific organizations of brotherly countries, and noted the great potential of the Union of National Academies of Sciences of the Turkic World (UNASTW). The Head of the Academy also expressed confidence in the active participation of Kazakhstani scientists in joint projects in the sphere of humanities.

In turn, S. Nurbek expressed support for the initiatives of the Academy and wished success in further work.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Academy presented the Minister the works in the field of Turkology published by the organization.
