Academician Garib Mammadov, the counselor of ANAS, held a seminar on "Application of ecological price maps of interactive electronic land and soil based on geographical information systems" with the faculty of Agronomy faculty of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU).

The event was opened by the rector of the university, correspondent member of ANAS Ibrahim Jafarov. He noted that such meetings are regularly held and emphasized that the seminar was a special opportunity for the teaching staff.

Then, Academician Garib Mammadov gave detailed information about the geographical information systems, the digital altitude model of the territory of Azerbaijan, the main features of the electronic land map formation on the basis of aerosol and space materials. He demonstrated an ecological assessment maps of interactive electron soils and soils, which clarify the issues of land maps mapping, including interactive land maps and environmental assessment maps of land based on aerosol and space materials.

At the end of the meeting, questions were answered.
