Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The IV volume of the "Works" by Doctor of Philology, Professor Kamandar Sharifli, the Head of the Department of Study of Arabic Manuscripts of the Institute of Manuscripts of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, has been published. The volume includes three books.

The scientific editor of the edition is academician Teymur Karimli.

The first book presents the original text of the two original manuscripts kept in the Institute of Manuscripts as well as the transliteration of the Latin alphabet by K. Sharifli on the subject of the 14th-century Turkish poet, Ummi Ismail's "Mehri and Vefa".

In the second book, the well-known Azerbaijani poet and historian Mir Mohsun Navvab's "Armenian-Muslim case in 1905-1906" describes the massacres committed by Armenians in Karabakh as well as in other parts of Azerbaijan.

The third book includes information about the texts and works translated into the Azerbaijani language by Nasraddin Tusi's "Adabul-mutaallim" ("Student Culture") encyclopedic knowledge. The paper presents the right ways for students to acquire scientific knowledge.
