ANAS Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory held Innovative summer camp "Innocamp" entitled “From Idea to Business”.

The camp, held by support of the Shamakhi Executive Power were attended by finalists of start-up tours, who left this year in Baku, Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Ganja, Mingachevir, Sheki, Sumgait, Sabirabad, Zagatala, Shamakhi, Goychay and Tovuz. Trainings in marketing, design were held for 54 students representing 18 teams. They were informed on the startup ecosystem, how to turn ideas into business. The main goal is the exchange of knowledge in this area and discussion of the formation of a common ecosystem.

Head of Shamakhi Executive Power Tahir Mammadov spoke on the importance of event and wished success to youth.

Seminars were organized to help young people turn their ideas into business with innovative technologies. Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program Alessandro Fracasetti and founder of TC Holdings, acceleration and ecosystem specialist Tal Katron has shared their ideas about the innovative ecosystem with participants.

Innocamp Innovation Summer Camp was held as a part of the “İ2B-İdeyadan Biznesə” joint project implemented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the Regional Development Public Association of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the United Nations Development Program and Azercell companies and Microsoft.
