Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Natavan club of the Azerbaijan Writers Union presented the book “Mucru”. The book includes prose, stories and essays by Gulhuseyn Huseynoglu.

The editor and author of the “Preface” is the academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Humanities, academician Teymur Karimli.

The event was attended by the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, vice president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli, academician-secretary of the Division of Humanitarian Sciences, academician Teymur Karimli, academician Abel Maharramov, secretary of Azerbaijan Writers Union, people's writer Chingiz Abdullayev and literary scholars.

The secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers Union Ilgar Fahmi opened the ceremony, thanked the ANAS leadership for their attention to the writer's activity.

In his speech, academician Akif Alizadeh expressed his admiration for the writer, who carefully studied the work of Mikail Mushfig and noted the important role of the writer in the development of Azerbaijani literature.

In turn, academicians - Isa Habibbayli, Teymur Karimli, Abel Maharramov, People’s writer Chingiz Abdullaev, Doctors of Philology sciences - Vagif Yusifli, Mammad Aliyev and others shared their memories about the writer, and also talked about his activity.

In conclusion, the writer’s son Togrul Abdullaev thanked ANAS leadership and participants of the event for publishing the book.
