The next meeting of the Presidium of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

First, the chairman of the division, academician Ismayil Hajiyev informed about the issues on the agenda.

Stressing out the importance of the order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov “On the establishment of the Science Development Fund under the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan”, Ismayil Hajiyev said that the Charter of the Fund was approved. He said that the aim is to boost fundamental scientific innovations in Nakhchivan, expand its natural resources, cultural and historical heritage, underpin innovative projects of great importance to the state and society in various fields of science.

The head of the enterprise spoke about the tasks facing the Nakhchivan Division in connection with the current Decree.

Later, , it was decided to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, corresponding member of ANAS Hajifakhraddin Safarli and awarding him with the Division’s Honorary Order for his effective scientific activity.

The, a leading scientist of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, PhD in History, Associate Professor Musa Guliyev delivered a lecture on “The great commander Kalbali khan I Kangarly-Nakhchivanski’s life and creativity on the works by Russian orientalist, historian K. Smirnov”.

The next issue at the event was to consider the state of preparedness for the upcoming autumn-winter season. Chief specialist of the Division for Affairs Abbasali Magsudov informed the participants.

Chief laboratory of Chemistry and Technology of Mineral Raw, PhD in chemistry, associate professor Gorkmaz Huseynov spoke about the activities and vital successes of the very Laboratory of the Institute of Natural Resources in recent years.

A number of scientific - organizational and current issues were also scheduled at the meeting.
