Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The authors of “Abbreviation dictionary” book are the chief research associate of ANAS Institute of Linguistics, Doctor of Philology Nariman Seydaliev and late Professor of BSU Bayram Ahmadov and PhD in Philology Rasim Heydarov.

The dictionary consists of more than 5500 complex names that have been collected over many years and cover all areas. The “Preface” reflects a pronunciation guide and reading abbreviations in the Azerbaijani.

The scientific editor of the book is Doctor of Philology, Professor Ismail Mammadli, reviewers are Professor Gara Mashadiev, Doctor of Philology Aynel Mashadieva, Baba Mahgeramli and Agil Jafarov.

The new edition is intended for use by a wide range of readers and experts.
