Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Kevin Mackey, Professor of the Michigan State University, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Utku Kocum, Research Assistant, University Of Missouri are on a scientific trip in Azerbaijan.

The visit was held within the joint project of ANAS Republican Seismic Survey Center, the United States Department of Energy and Ukrainian Center for Science and Technology “The Caucasus Cut” project.

During the visit, it is planned to carry out technical upgrades and collect data on seismic stations installed in Hajigabul, Neftchala, Goychay, Ismayilli, Guba and Gusar districts.

It should be noted that, the works on the stations installed and have been completed in Hajigabul, Neftchala Goychay districts and continues in Ismayilli.
