Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On October 15, at the Presidium of ANAS, a ceremony of signing a new agreement on cooperation with Hungary in the field of humanities was held.

Academician-secretary of the Division of Humanities of ANAS academician Teymur Kerimli, welcoming the guests, stressed out that the agreement will expand the research capabilities of scientists of both countries in the field of humanities.

The need for further development of existing cooperation between the two organizations in various priority areas was highlighted at the meeting.

Further, academician Teymur Karimli and an art director of the Hungarian Heritage House Istvan Pal signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of conducting ethnographic studies of the collections of folklore, folk dance and folk music and other activities.

In addition, a letter of intent was signed with the Institute of Folklore of ANAS.

The event was attended by the diplomat of the Hungarian Embassy for Culture and Education Mihai Gruber, director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS academician Mukhtar Imanov, director of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi academician Mohsun Naghisoylu, director of the Institute of Architecture and Art corresponding member of ANAS Ertegin Salamzade and director of the Institute of Philosophy, Dr. Philosophy, Professor Ilham Mammadzade.
