Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

An event dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the death of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the High Technologies Park of ANAS.

First, flowers were laid in front of the bust of the great leader in HT Park.

Director of HT Park, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Elton Mammadov said that the memory of the architect of modern Azerbaijan’s statehood, national leader Heydar Aliyev is honored with great pride by Azerbaijanis around the world.

Touching upon the great, meaningful and honorable lifestyle of the great leader, the scientist said that due to exceptional merits, national leader became immortal in the memory of our people: “The revival and awakening of national self-awareness began with the advent of Heydar Aliyev to power. Thanks to him, our independence has acquired an eternal and irreversible character. Our country was able to rise to a decent level, thanks to the foresight, wisdom, determination and rich state experience of a great leader.”

E. Mammadov noted that the political line laid by Heydar Aliyev has been successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. Large-scale and consistent reforms aimed at the development of the country and the welfare of our people, today give real results.
