Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Central Scientific Library of ANAS and the Apartment-Museum of Abdulla Shaig have exchanged the funds of works of the famous poet, playwright and educator Abdulla Shaig in an electronic catalog and database.

The database contains more than 100 books and over 50 articles. Ulkar Talibzadeh, director of the Abdulla Shaig's Apartment-Museum PhD in Study of Art, and writer's granddaughter, spoke about the importance of digital documents for the preservation of the poet's works for future generations. She highly estimated the relationship between the library and the museum.

Director of the CSL PhD Leyla Imanova said the digitized documents were stored and protected by the library at the National Digital Memory Database with about 20,000 documents.

Later on, books designed by apartment-museum – “Advise and compromise, or a conflict of Ummah”, “If Shaig were not” and "Kamal Talibzadeh. School of Aristocratism” were submitted to the library.

Finally, guests were acquainted with the activities of the library service and digitization departments.
