Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS (SRSC) held a solemn event on December 31 - the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day and New Year at the initiative of the Trade Union Organization.

During the event, director of SRSC, PhD in Physics-Mathematics Yusif Shukurlu congratulated the staff of the center on the holiday and wished them good wishes. Shukurlu noted that the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day is one of the most cherished holidays not only for our compatriots living in the independent Republic of Azerbaijan, but also for more than 50 million compatriots around the world.

The director said that the 2019 year-long tour was a success for our people, our state and our center because of the wise domestic and foreign policy of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This year, SRSC employees have achieved a lot of success.

Subsequently, deputy general director of the Center Rahim Abdurahmanov, head Department of Selection of Silkworm, PhD in Biology, Assoc. Prof. Gudurat Bakirov, a leading researcher, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Professor Firedun Ibrahimov and others reported at the event.

Finally, a group of employees was awarded honorary diplomas for their effective activities in the scientific and public life of the center.
