Prospects of cooperation between the Institute of Information Technology and TUBITAK were discussed

Rasim Alguliyev, vice-president of ANAS director of the Institute of Information Technology academician, met with Orkhan Muradoglu, Information and Information Security High Technology Research Center (TÜBİTAK – BILGEM) of the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TÜBİTAK), and Jemil Sagiroglu, Research Center for Software Technologies of the Center.

During the meeting, academician Rasim Alguliyev stressed the importance of long-standing cooperation between TÜBİTAK and scientific institutions of ANAS. He said that the institute, which is headed by him, is doing fundamental work in the field of Data Mining and Big Data analytics, e-government information security management, biometric technologies, cyberspace systems security.

R.Alguliyev noted that last month the establishment of a regional center in Baku for the Fourth Industrial Revolution between Davos Forum and Azerbaijan within the framework of the Davos World Economic Forum, was considered by President Ilham Aliyev an important event. The scientist said that the Institute has conducted research in the field of Industry 4.0 concept and artificial intelligence and identified priorities.

Later, the vice-president of TÜBİTAK – BILGEM Orkhan Muradoglu provided detailed information about the activities of the organization represented by him. He underscored the importance of conducting innovative research at the Institute of Information Technology to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0.
