The fourth year students of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism of the Azerbaijan University of Languages began their probation in the Public Relations, Press and Information Department of the Presidium of ANAS.

In advance, the students Shams Safaraliyeva, Lala Hasanli, Galbina Guliyeva, Elnura Abdullayeva, Kanan Guliyev and their teacher Nigar Garayeva, met with Aghahuseyn Shukurov, head of the Department of Public Relations, Press and Information, Doctor of Philological sciences.

Speaking at the meeting, A.Shukurov said that ANAS is the highest scientific institution in the country pursuing the state's scientific policy.

Informing about the structure and activities of the department headed by himself, A.Shukurov brought to mind that, Public Relations, Press and Information Department informs the public of official and business meetings of the President of ANAS and other senior officials, including organizes relations of the scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy with the public, prepares press releases and interviews in this regard. Due to promote science in Azerbaijan, newspaper "Elm", journal “Science and Life", internet portal science.az and internet television “Elm TV” operates under the department, he noted.

A.Shukurov advised the students to be responsible during the probation and to take advantage of the created conditions.

Then, the youth got acquainted with the work process in the departmental sectors.
