Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The bulk "Luminaries of Azerbaijani Medicine" authored by the Director of the Institute of the Science History of ANAS, Doctor of Historical Sciences Maryam Seyidbeyli and an employee of the Department of Theoretical and Methodological Problems, PhD in Study of Art Dilara Vahabova, was published.

Presented in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages, the book is dedicated to the life and work of prominent medical scientists in Azerbaijan who are active or corresponding members of ANAS.

The scientific editor of the publication is the General Director of the National Cancer Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Jamil Aliyev.

In preparing the book, materials were used from various foundations located in Azerbaijan and Russia, including the archives of many ANAS institutions, universities, bibliographic sources, Internet resources, the media and family archives.

The collection “Coryphaeus of Azerbaijani Medicine” is intended for medical workers, students receiving a medical education, and a wide range of readers.
