Central Scientific Library of ANAS organized literary exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijani scientist, Professor Aida Imanguliyeva.

Library director, Dr. Philology Aybaniz Aliyeva-Kangarli told about the life of a famous literature, orientalist, translator, and critic Dr. Philology, Professor Aida Imanguliyeva’s rich scientific, educational and organizational activities.

Aybaniz Aliyeva-Kangarli stressed the exceptional role of the scientist in the formation and development of science and scientific school of Oriental Studies, especially of Arabic studies in Azerbaijan. She added that Aida Imanguliyeva was one of the few scientists, combining scientific talent, organizational skills and teaching. More than 20 years she has lectured on Arabic literature, conducted special courses and supervised diploma works at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at BSU, and her works are highly appreciated in many countries.

The exhibition showcased some 100 books, including such as “Jubran Khalil Jubran”, “Qelemler birliyi və Mixail Nuayma” (2002), " New Arabic literature luminaries " (2003), “East and West: Common spriritual values” (2004), as well as Salahaddin Khalilov’s books dedicated to her life and activity Eastern lifeway of East spirit” (2009), Sharaf Jalili’s “Dashda chicek achan Dilber “, and “Dunya deyilen senmishsen”, “Romantic poetry in the context of issues East-West “(2009) and” Aida Nasir gizi Imanguliyeva: Bibliography " (2009), etc. published books and more than 40 articles, virtual images, videos and photographs.

The exhibition will last 15 days.
