Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Ecological geomorphology of Azerbaijan is studied at the Institute of Geography named after academician Hasan Aliyev of ANAS.

At the initial stage, ecogeomorphological studies were carried out in the Greater Caucasus. In this regard, field expeditionary studies were conducted on the southern and northeastern slopes of the Greater Caucasus. The results of studies of the mountains of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus, the Kura Depression, the Talysh and Nakhchivan regions are summarized.
