Khadija Mammadyarova, a young specialist of the Laboratory of Multifunctional Additives to Motor Oils of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after acad. Ali Guliyev of ANAS, has created new additives for modern motor oils of various purposes. Her patent for AKI-31 and AKI-172 additives was approved.

Khadija Mammadyarova noted that as engine production develops, there are problems in preventing corrosion of parts, especially in ensuring the normal start and operation of engines over a wide temperature range. These problems place new demands on the properties of motor oils - corrosion, oxidation, thermal stability, washing properties. Demand for modern and promising motor oils can be met by developing new types of high-quality additives with different functional properties.

The young researcher noted that using new additives, she has developed new motor oils that meet modern requirements and do not lag behind the oils of “Shell”. Part of the scientific work was carried out with the support of the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Note that the importance and novelty of her research has been confirmed by two patents. Khadija Mammadyarova has worthily represented our country at international scientific conferences in Greece and Belarus. She won scientific projects, reports, and article competitions.
