Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Free Trade Union of ANAS, which voted for the request and appeals of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and always underpinned his far-sighted policy, carried out a number of measures to raise awareness, help low-income families and distribute food gifts during the coronavirus pandemic.

Thus, at the beginning of the pandemic period, in many organizations of ANAS, employees of relevant agencies and doctors were invited and extensive educational events on coronavirus were organized. In addition, a number of institutes of the academy distributed financial assistance and food products to employees over 65 and members of low-income families.

Trade Union of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of ANAS has also joined this benevolent mission. Chairman of the organization, Professor Sevinj Aliyeva and member Gunel Hamidova visited the residence of about 40 employees to present food gifts.
