Head of the Department of Science and Education of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Orkhan Bagirov was elected a member of the editorial board of the theoretical and scientific-practical international journal "Modern Gardening" (Russia).

In this regard, a letter was addressed to the scientist on behalf of the chief editor of the journal, Professor Sergei Knyazev.

It should be noted that Orkhan Bagirov is conducting research on the topic “Assessment of the gene pool of stone fruit crops in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”. The results of his research work were published both in our country and on the pages of a number of international journals abroad, including in the issues of the above-mentioned journal.
