Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Ganja Division of ANAS and Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli have published the book "Ganja ruler Javad khan and Ziyadoglu-Gajar dynasty".

The compiler of the book, as well as the translator of Persian texts, the author of the comments and the "Preface" is a senior researcher of the Institute of Manuscripts Haji Rauf Sheykhzamanli. The reviewer of the material is the director of the institute, academician Teymur Karimli.

The publication presents information about the Ziyadoglu-Gajar dynasty and its prominent representative, the last ruler of the Ganja khanate Javad khan based on historical sources - Javad khan's ancestors and descendants, his bravery for Ganja against the invaders and other interesting facts.
