Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The online defense of dissertations of the 2nd year master’s graduates of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBI) and Institute of Botany of ANAS was held.

The vice-president of ANAS, director of IBBM, academician Irada Huseynova, academician-secretary of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, head of the Science and Education Office of the Presidium PhD in economics Fail Kazimov, Master's department Director, PhD in Agrarian Sciences Fikret Feyziyev and relevant persons attended the event.

Corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov praised the activity of the master’s graduates of the academy and called on them to continue their scientific research in the future.

Then, the chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council for the Defense of Master's Dissertations Professor Saftar Suleymanov informed about the issues on the agenda.

Scientific Secretary of the Council, Head of the Department of Education of IMMB, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Rustamova brought to the attention of dissertation topics of masters.

In the defense, 3 master’s graduate from Azerbaijan department and 1 master’s graduate of the Russian department majoring in “Molecular Biology”, 2 master’s graduates majoring in “Biochemistry”, 1 master's student majoring in “Biotechnology” and 1 master’s graduate of the Institute of Botany majoring in “Plant Physiology” presented their dissertations for discussion. Extensive discussions were held on each dissertation topic.
