Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

After construction auxiliary building of ANAS Institute of Folklore was opened in Ahmadli district. Participating in an opening ceremony president of ANAS acad. Akif Alizadeh got familiar with particular departments of the institute.

Director of the institute corresponding member of ANAS Mukhtar Imanov informed the president about “Folklore studio” attached to the institute, drew attention to the fulfillments to be done for technical providing of folklore collection and conservation as well as for enrichment of e-database. A. Alizadeh gave his recommendations and suggestions associated with “Folklore studio”.

ANAS president got acquainted with the works of Song folklore, Ashug creativity departments, Editorial-publishing section, “Irs” (Heritage) ensemble, in particular gave his instructions on enhancing and improvement of the ensemble as well as strengthening the publication works.
