Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Mirnuh Ismayilov, head of the Department of Landscape Studies and Landscape Planning of the Institute of Geography of ANAS named after academician H.A. Aliyev, co-author of the first large-scale digital environmental risk map of Azerbaijan based on multivariate data, PhD in Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor participated in the online meeting of the coordination group on "Development of the National Strategy for the Sendai Framework Document".

The meeting, initiated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was attended by representatives of a number of government agencies and ministries, as well as ANAS.

Following the presentation of the Sendai Framework Program website, discussions were held on the stages of creation and preparation of the National Strategy on the Sendai Framework Document.
