An online meeting of the Specialized Scientific Council for the defense of master's theses of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry named after acad. M. Naghiyev and Institute of Polymer Materials of ANAS, was held.

The meeting was opened by the director of the Institute of Polymer Materials, chairman of the Scientific Council, corresponding member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Mammadov, who informed about the issues on the agenda.

Then, the scientific secretary of the council, head of the Education Department of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, PhD in Chemistry Sevinj Mammadova brought the master's thesis topics to the attention of the participants.

Four master's theses on "Chemistry of high molecular weight compounds", "Chemistry of composite materials" and "Mathematical modeling of

petrochemical processes" were presented at the meeting. Young people spoke about the relevance of research, scientific innovation, the results obtained, and responded questions.

Bakhtiyar Mammadov, head of the Science and Education Office of the Presidium of ANAS PhD in Economics Fail Kazimov, Professor Najaf Gahramanov, Doctors of Chemical Sciences Nushaba Gurbanova, Nizami Zeynalov, PhDs in Engineering Goshgar Aliyev, Manaf Manafov, PhDs in Chemistry Samira Mammadova and Sevil Mashayeva spoke and expressed their views and suggestions.
