The online defense of the theses of 2nd year master’s graduates studying at the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS was carried out.

The following topics of theses were presented for defense: “Synthesis of electrode materials based on nickel and cobalt for the process of water reduction”, “Synthesis and study of the structure of ternary compounds of lanthanides of tin and lead sulfides”, “Synthesis and study of polymer nanogels based on chitosan and poly-4 -vinylpyridine for immobilization of lemofloxacin”, “Interdisciplinary approach to the synthesis of biomimetric catalysts based on iron complexes ”and “Mathematical modeling of the process of catalytic oxidation of methanol and calculation of technological parameters ”.

In the Specialized Council, chaired by corresponding members of ANAS Muhammed Babanli and Bakhtiyar Mammadov, master’s graduates submitted their theses.

During the discussions, answers to questions were given, the relevance of theses, presentation and research skills of applicants were analyzed, and it was decided to assign a young specialist a scientific and specialized master's degree.
