Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Being on a visit to Italy director of ANAS Institute of Oriental Studies named after acad. Ziya Bunyadov prof. Govhar Bakhshaliyeva and senior scientific worker PhD in philology Lala Aliyeva visited the leading center of oriental studies of this country - University of Naples L’Orientale.

Meetings were held with rector of the university Elda Morlikkio and prof. Michele Bernardini within the frame of agreement treaty signed between ANAS Institute of Oriental Studies and University of Naples L’Orientale by initiative of Azerbaijan Embassy to Italy in February of last year.

In the meeting with participation of second secretary of the embassy Nasir Mammadov view of exchange was held on improving ties between two parties, and future projects.

G. Bakhshaliyeva stated that, departments of the institute prepare experts not only for Azerbaijan, but also for CIS countries, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran.

E. Morlikkio has proposed to teach Azerbaijani language at University of Naples L’Orientale.
