The monograph “Decarboxylation of Carboxylic Acids of Natural Origin” was published, co-authored by employees of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after academician Yusif Mammadaliyev of ANAS - professors Arif Hasanov, Leylufer Aliyev and PhD in Chemistry, associate professor Ilgar Eyubov.

The monograph, published in Russian and English, reflected materials on the study of organic carboxylic acids extracted from reducing materials with the participation of various catalysts to expand the range of petrochemical synthesis products, including the study of decarboxylation of petroleum acids.

The book also provides data on the features of the decarboxylation reaction of all classes of carboxylic and petroleum acids with the participation of natural and synthetic aluminosilicates, as well as nanoscale catalysts based on metal oxides.

The new publication is intended for undergraduates and doctoral students, as well as specialists involved in the field of petrochemical synthesis.
