The next issue of the program "Dəryada damla" ("Drop in the Sea"), which is broadcast on the TV channel "Mədəniyyət" ("Culture"), spoke about the scientific activities of young scientists of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. A. Aliyev of ANAS, PhD in Geography Zaur Imrani and Natavan Jafarova.

Geographical scientists spoke about the history of economic geography, which is one of the leading sectors of the world economy, its important role in the development of the economy, the main directions, famous scientists involved in this field, the importance of studying economic geography, etc.

It was noted that when studying the lifestyle, customs and traditions of ethnic groups living in the territory of Azerbaijan, geographic scientists who are actively involved in developing state programs and studying the relationship between nature and society, allude to regional politics. 

It was also reported that N. Jafarova and Z. Imrani are engaged in pedagogical activities at Baku State University, during which they transfer their knowledge and skills to students. Scientists participate in various international projects, publish scientific articles in authoritative journals with a high index, work on monographs and study guides.

Note that in connection with the quarantine regime announced in the republic, exams were held on the Zoom platform online.
