A meeting with representatives of the High Technologies Park (HT Park) of ANAS was held at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after academician A.Guliyev.

Director of the Institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev informed the guests about the history of the scientific research institution, its structure, main activities, training of highly qualified personnel, international cooperation, fundamental theoretical and applied achievements in recent years. He spoke about the work that has been done in the country's economy so far and will contribute to the real economy.

Academician V.Farzaliyev said that the enterprise he heads also provides scientific and technical support to the residents of ANAS HT Park. According to him, these free works mainly cover the creation of various lubricants, their testing in accordance with international standards, the development of normative and technical documents that ensure the production and consumption of individual lubricants. In connection with the application of lubricants produced by the Experimental Industrial Plant of ANAS, the AKI conducted personnel training to carry out author's control in consumer organizations, to prepare advertising brochures on these products in Azerbaijani, Russian and English and to conduct relevant analyzes in the plant's laboratories.

Speaking later, the director of HT Park, academician Ali Abbasov said that one of the main tasks of the organization is to commercialize the scientific results obtained by scientists of various applied research institutions of ANAS, including chemical institutes. He stressed that special attention was paid to the development of this direction under the leadership of the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev.

Academician A.Abbasov said that the main purpose of his visit to the Institute of Chemistry of Additives was to get acquainted with the technical potential of this scientific institution, the real work that can be applied in HT Park, to discuss perspective issues between the two institutions.

He recalled the online conference organized by the Office of Foreign Relations of the Presidium of ANAS to discuss the current state and directions of the transfer of intellectual knowledge, scientific and technological innovations. He said that the conference discussed the connection of technology transfer with the national economic strategy, the relationship of national regulation and protection of intellectual property. At the same time, important issues such as the structure of research funding, research center, university and industry cooperation, evaluation of state-funded research were in the spotlight.

It was noted at the meeting that it is expedient to work with the applied institutes of ANAS, including the Institute of Chemistry of Additives, to study innovation-oriented projects, assess their economic efficiency, commercialize innovative scientific achievements, stimulate scientific achievements.

Finally, the guest got acquainted with the devices and equipment of some delicate organic synthesis and analysis laboratories of the institute.
